  Q: How do I keep my locks neat?
A: Your locks will never look as neat or as shiny as your starter locks/coils. Natural locks have a dull and textured appearance resembling suede. What’s more important is that you keep your locks clean, moisturized and conditioned.

Q: How soon can 'starter' locs be washed?
A: Your 'starter' locs will need time to settle. The first 4 to 6 weeks are critical. I teach my clients how to do a simple scalp cleansing to maintain the integrity of their newly forming locs.

Q: How often should I have my locks re-twisted?
A: Locks should be re-twisted every 3-6 weeks depending on hair texture. Once the hair is twisted, LEAVE IT ALONE. Over twisting can cause your locks to become weak and break.
